AMEL Speakers bring unique, bridge-building talks to schools, community centers, places of worship, conferences and gatherings across the United States and the globe. Sharing stories of transformational leadership for human rights, democracy, peace and pluralism, they spread sparks of hope, dialogue, and inspiration.
Speakers include AMEL’s President Mohamed Abubakr, Executive Director Megan Hallahan, and Senior Director of Human Rights, Nicholas Opiyo, among others.
AMEL also offers training sessions and workshops on topics related to human rights, democracy, pluralism, allyship to prevent atrocities, transforming conflict, and empowering young generations. Training sessions and workshops can be online, or in-person, and can be customized according to partner needs and requests.
