The AMEL/Sudan Democracy Action Project (SDA) Convening Series regularly brings together actors from Sudanese civil society and the international community to share information, experiences, and opportunities to improve engagement and cooperation.

The June 2026 Convening will bring together practitioners to reflect on the humanitarian dimensions of the International Sudan Conference in Berlin and to discuss what these developments may mean for community-led humanitarian efforts in Sudan.

AMEL seeks to fill critical gaps in the international landscape, in particular at the intersection between the international community and African/Middle Eastern civil society.
