The AMEL Institute is now accepting applications for the Summer 2025 program!

The AMEL Institute fills critical knowledge- and skill-gaps of young changemakers from Africa and the Middle East. This unique online training program brings together hundreds of young civic activists between the ages of 18 and 35 for an interactive program taught by experienced activists and leading experts. Through the course of 8 weeks (mid July-September 2025), trainees engage with a curriculum that includes lectures, quizzes, discussions and assignments. Learning from the instructors as well as from peers, trainees gain knowledge and skills for more inclusive and impactful activism on topics such as human rights, peace and democracy.
